The Parish had thriving local community football teams for many years. Sporting E.V. club was formed in 1998 and competed at under 12, under 14 and under 16 level in the Bridgend & District League. They had access to top coaches, their own facilities at St. Brides Major Sports Pavilion with two top class pitches. Training sessions were held regularly.
Unfortunately at present there are no football teams - if you are interested in playing why not start one!? (and let us know all the details!)
