Vale Cricket Club was formed in 2004 from Southerndown, Ewenny and Corntown clubs.  Youth, 3rd team and Sunday cricket played at Southerndown; 1st and 2nd team cricket was played at Corntown for players aged 7 and over;  Nets started in May in the Pavilion, Corntown. 

By 2011, First, Second and Third senior sides and Junior teams including under 9s, 11s, 13s and 15s met on Saturdays with regular Sunday and mid-week friendly fixtures as well as winter nets for Seniors/Juniors at Cowbridge School/Neath Cricket Club. 

Posters giving details of Vale Cricket Club Youth Registration Night are usually circulated in March/April each year.
