CARERS GROUPS AND SUPPORT Return to Clubs main page Vale Carers: If you are a carer in the Vale of Glamorgan and would like to chat with others in the same or similar situation, search Facebook for the Vale Carers Page and become a member; you can share as much or as little information as you like by changing your Facebook account security settings. If you would like IT sessions to help you learn how to use Facebook, contact the Parents Federation on 02920 227800 and ask about training courses for carers.
Tai Chi for beginners from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon every
Thursday in Ewenny & Corntown Village Hall. Tai chi can reduce the risk of
falls and improve mobility of the ankle, hip and knee. If you are
interested and would like to attend, contact Sue
Bridgend Carers Centre hold a drop-in session on Mondays
between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm at 87 Park Street, Bridgend, or ring 01656 658479
to arrange an appointment. This charitable organisation provides support for unpaid carers who are caring for
friends, neighbours or family members.
