Work to replace the bridge over the railway line at Ewenny on the B4265 has commenced and temporary traffic lights are in place.  Although the road is open at present it is scheduled to close from 16th March until late June 2015.

Pen-y-Bont Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the main beach at Ogmore-by-Sea at weekends between May and September, providing volunteer surf rescue and first aid.  Their clubhouse needs replacing and a new one is scheduled to be built.  If you would like to register an interest to possibly hold meeting/s here in the future, please visit Pen-y-Bont Surf Lifesaving Club website

 Inconsiderate parking, antisocial behaviour, lighting of illegal fires and damage to the Common have all been a cause of concern to Ogmore-by-Sea residents are therefore a PACT priority.  Did you know these incidents can be reported by calling 101 which is a non-emergency number?

St. Bridget's Church, St. Brides Major, and All Saints Church, Southerndown, collect used postcards and stamps for Children in Distress.
